Mitre Peak Company (“MPC”) is a strategic development partner, construction manager, and project captain for complex commercial and industrial real estate initiatives. We act as an extension of ownership, leading projects from vision to execution with a turn-key, full-cycle, fiduciary approach.
Operating across Utah, Arizona, Colorado, and Nevada, MPC provides end-to-end development management, construction oversight, acquisitions leadership, and owner's representation – serving as outsourced vertical integration for sponsors, co-GP capital partners, investors, owners, and occupiers who lack, or need to augment, internal development and construction capabilities.
Since 2016, MPC has stewarded over 4.5 million square feet of real estate transactions and projects. Our services span every phase of the development, value-add, and capital improvement project lifecycles: from site sourcing, underwriting, and entitlements through design, vertical development, construction management, lease-up, and disposition.

Mitre Peak Company was founded in 2020 with a clear vision: to be the execution partner owners, investors, and occupiers could trust to lead complex real estate projects from vision to reality — with the care, judgment, and alignment of an insider. After years working across the full lifecycle of real estate — from valuation and brokerage to construction, development, asset management, partnership structuring, and investment — Jason saw a gap in the market: clients with compelling opportunities but without the internal horsepower or structure to execute them. Mitre Peak was built to meet that need — to serve as a service-oriented, fiduciary partner capable of stewarding projects from idea to delivery, without diluting ownership or layering on overhead. What inspires us is simple: helping our clients create and capture value in their real estate. That means navigating complexity, protecting capital, and ensuring our partners keep the upside they’ve worked to unlock. Every engagement reflects the same belief — that trust, transparency, and discipline drive better projects and better returns.
MEET THE PRINCIPAL
Jason Head
Principal
Jason’s path into real estate began in Chicago, where the skyline sparked a lifelong fascination with how cities are made. After studying architecture and business at Arizona State University, he discovered that what inspired him most wasn’t design, it was leading the process of bringing complex projects to life.
He built a multidisciplinary foundation early: starting in valuation at CBRE, then moving through infill development, investment sales at Marcus & Millichap, and later hands-on commercial construction. He later returned to Chicago to learn construction from the inside out with a commercial general contractor — eventually becoming a licensed general contractor himself, gaining firsthand insight into the realities of building execution and jobsite leadership.
In 2016, ready for new terrain and a bigger role in shaping projects end-to-end, Jason relocated to Salt Lake City and joined JLL’s development team. There, and later with CREDE, he led complex commercial development and construction efforts for institutional clients, owners, and occupiers.
In 2020, Jason founded Mitre Peak Company to do things differently — offering development and construction leadership as an out-of-the-box service for partners who needed sophisticated execution. His goal: to give clients peace of mind and confidence that their projects are in the hands of someone who’s been on every side of the table — and always aims for extraordinary outcomes.
Since then, Jason has led over $1.5 billion in real estate initiatives across sectors, including industrial, office, medical office, multifamily, and mixed-use master plans. He’s known for his strategic clarity, operational depth, and calm leadership under pressure.
Jason lives in Salt Lake City with his wife and their Bullmastiff, Biscuit. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, music festivals, and exploring the American West.
